Why Did Jesus Say, “Why Do You Call Me Good?”: When someone addressed Jesus as “good,” Jesus responded, “Why do you call me good? Jesus said, No one is good except God (Jehovah) alone” (Mark 10:18). Jesus didn’t claim equality with God in every aspect. Jesus’ Prayers to God (Jehovah): Jesus prayed to God, demonstrating His dependence and relationship with the Father Jehovah. His prayers were genuine, not for show. For instance, in the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed fervently before His arrest (Matthew 26:36-46). You Are gods: In Psalm 82:6, it says, “I said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’” Jesus referenced this passage when confronted by the Jews, who accused Him of making Himself equal to God (John 10:34-36). The context suggests that humans, as God’s representatives, are called “gods” (with a lowercase “g”). The Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Word are "ONE" as stated in 1 John 5:7. Just as a married couple becomes "ONE" flesh, they work together as "ONE", as stated in Mark 10:8. This does not mean two fleshly bodies become one fleshly body; it just means two people are working together as one. As all three Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus work together as One. Jesus Praying to God, Jehovah Hebrews 5:7 "Jesus offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One (Jehovah) able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety." Differing Views Among Preachers Interestingly, many preachers today do not believe that having multiple wives is right. They often reference the teachings of Paul, whose faith was weak, Paul did not have a good understanding of God. Paul believes in one man and one wife, but God is fine with multiple wives, as Jehovah gave David all of Saul's wives. Romans 14 explains to us, what is sin to one person, is not sin to another. Romans 14 also explains, one person is weak in faith, and one is strong in faith. And the stronger faith, is not to tempt the weaker faith with what the weaker faith thinks is sin, because it really is sin to them but not sin to you. Sin is just a mistake; if you feel you made a mistake, just pray and ask God to forgive you, and God forgives and forgets. So if you were to pray again about what you thought was a mistake, God would not know what you were talking about. If the weaker faith person you tempted were to partake in what they think is sin, it is sin to them, and it harms them spiritually. When the spirit hurts, it does bodily harm, as stated in Proverbs 17:22 "...a broken spirit dries the bones." This verse explains to us, if you are hurting spiritually, it does bodily harm, you become ill, thinking you did something wrong, even though it is acceptable in God's eyes. Like I said, if you think you did something wrong, just ask for forgiveness, and God will heal your body. This shows that God knows what you are "thinking" constantly. Your soul is often referred to as the subconscious mind by doctors, and it holds more information than the human brain. Traumatic events are stored in the subconscious mind, also called soul, and may not be fully known to the conscious brain. The subconscious mind is “part” of the “soul” also known as “spirit” or “ghost” like the Holy Ghost. Doctors declare a person clinically dead, once all the electricity has left the body; this means the Soul has left the body, as the Soul is no longer attached to the "Sinus Node" area of the heart. From this understanding, we can conclude that once a baby's heart starts beating, the baby has a soul and is alive. I have witnessed a heartbreaking incident where a doctor callously disregarded the life of an abortion baby, by placing it on the counter, then instructing the nurse to discard the baby into the trashcan once it stopped moving. Termination/Discharge Policy For Jehovah Saints Homeless Shelters Purpose Jehovah Saints is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for all individuals utilizing our homeless shelters. This Termination/Discharge Policy outlines the circumstances under which a guest may be discharged from the shelter, as well as the procedures to ensure fairness, transparency, and access to additional resources. Policy Statement Termination or discharge from Jehovah Saints Homeless Shelters will only occur when necessary to uphold the safety, well-being, and integrity of the shelter community. All decisions will be made with fairness, compassion, and an emphasis on connecting individuals to alternative resources whenever possible. Grounds for Termination/Discharge A guest may be discharged from the shelter for any of the following reasons: Violation of Shelter Rules: Repeated or severe violations of shelter policies, including but not limited to: Violence or threats of violence toward staff, other guests, or visitors. Possession, use, or distribution of illegal substances or alcohol on shelter property. Theft or destruction of property. Harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior. Safety Concerns: Behavior that poses a direct threat to the safety or well-being of the guest, other residents, or staff. Non-Compliance with Program Requirements: Refusal to participate in required programs or services, if such participation was agreed upon as part of the guest’s stay. Voluntary Departure: A guest may choose to leave the shelter at any time. Completion of Stay: The guest has successfully completed their stay and transitioned to permanent housing or another appropriate living arrangement.
