Volunteer Policy for Jehovah Saints Effective Date: 12/22/2024 Jehovah Saints, which includes Jehovah's House of Saints Online Ministry, Jehovah Saints Homeless Shelters, and Jehovah Saints Global Outreach, values the contributions of its volunteers in fulfilling our mission to serve others and share the love of Christ. Volunteers are essential to our ministry, and this policy outlines the expectations, rights, and responsibilities of all individuals who wish to volunteer with Jehovah Saints. By volunteering with Jehovah Saints, you agree to abide by the guidelines set forth in this Volunteer Policy. 1. Mission and Values Jehovah Saints is a faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to: Sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Supporting individuals in need through homeless shelters, community outreach, and ministry programs. Promoting love, compassion, and unity in accordance with biblical principles. As a volunteer, you are expected to uphold these values and contribute to our mission with integrity and respect. 2. Eligibility to Volunteer To volunteer with Jehovah Saints, individuals must: Be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18). Agree to abide by this Volunteer Policy and any additional rules or guidelines specific to the volunteer role. Complete the volunteer application process, which may include an interview and reference checks, depending on the role. Be physically and mentally able to perform the tasks required for the volunteer position. Commit to treating all individuals with respect and dignity, regardless of their background or circumstances. Jehovah Saints does not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, age, disability, or any other characteristic and welcomes volunteers from diverse backgrounds who share our mission and values. 3. Volunteer Responsibilities As a volunteer, you are expected to: Conduct Yourself Professionally: Act in a manner that reflects the values of Jehovah Saints, treating others with kindness, respect, and compassion. Follow Instructions: Adhere to the guidance and instructions provided by Jehovah Saints staff or team leaders. Respect Confidentiality: Maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information you may encounter while volunteering. Be Reliable: Arrive on time for your scheduled volunteer shifts and notify your supervisor as soon as possible if you are unable to attend. Promote a Safe Environment: Follow all safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately. Refrain from Personal Gain: Do not use your volunteer position for personal, financial, or political gain. 4. Jehovah Saints’ Responsibilities Jehovah Saints is committed to: Providing Training and Support: Volunteers will receive the necessary training and resources to perform their roles effectively. Creating a Safe Environment: Jehovah Saints will provide a safe and respectful environment for all volunteers. Recognizing Contributions: Volunteers will be acknowledged and appreciated for their time, effort, and dedication. Ensuring Fair Treatment: Volunteers will be treated with respect and fairness, and their concerns will be addressed promptly. 5. Volunteer Roles Jehovah Saints offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, including but not limited to: Assisting at homeless shelters (meal preparation, cleaning, organizing donations, etc.). Supporting community outreach initiatives (food drives, clothing distributions, etc.). Participating in ministry activities (prayer groups, church events, online ministry support). Administrative support (data entry, event planning, communications). Specialized skills (e.g., counseling, teaching, medical services). Volunteers will be assigned roles based on their skills, interests, and availability. 6. Health and Safety Jehovah Saints is committed to the health and safety of its volunteers. Volunteers are expected to: Follow all health and safety guidelines provided during training or orientation. Report any injuries, illnesses, or unsafe conditions immediately to their supervisor. Avoid engaging in activities that may pose a risk to themselves or others. Jehovah Saints reserves the right to suspend or terminate volunteer activities in the event of unsafe conditions or emergencies. 7. Background Checks For certain volunteer roles, especially those involving vulnerable populations (e.g., children, homeless individuals), Jehovah Saints may require a background check. Volunteers will be informed if this is a requirement for their role, and all information will be handled confidentially. 8. Volunteer Conduct and Disciplinary Action Volunteers must adhere to the policies and values of Jehovah Saints. The following behaviors are grounds for disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal: Harassment, discrimination, or abuse of any kind. Theft, fraud, or misuse of Jehovah Saints’ property or resources. Failure to follow instructions or guidelines. Repeated tardiness or unexcused absences. Any behavior that compromises the safety or well-being of others. Disciplinary actions will be handled on a case-by-case basis and may include a warning, suspension, or termination of the volunteer relationship. 9. Confidentiality Volunteers may encounter sensitive information about individuals or the organization while serving. Volunteers must agree to: Keep all personal or organizational information confidential. Refrain from sharing any confidential information without prior authorization. Failure to maintain confidentiality may result in immediate dismissal. 10. Volunteer Rights As a volunteer, you have the right to: Be treated with respect and dignity. Receive appropriate training and support for your role. Work in a safe and healthy environment. Ask questions and seek clarification about your role or responsibilities. Decline tasks or roles that you feel uncomfortable performing. 11. Volunteer Recognition Jehovah Saints deeply values the contributions of its volunteers. We will recognize and celebrate the efforts of our volunteers through various means, such as thank-you events, certificates of appreciation, and public acknowledgments. 12. Ending the Volunteer Relationship Volunteers are free to end their service with Jehovah Saints at any time. We request that volunteers provide as much notice as possible so we can adjust accordingly. Similarly, Jehovah Saints reserves the right to end a volunteer’s service if it is deemed necessary. 13. "Jesus spoke Aramaic, which is an Arabic Language" Mark 15:34: Jesus shouted in a loud voice, (in Aramaic) "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?" which is translated, "My God, my God, for what have you forsaken me?" Jehovah Saints Faith is "SEP Trinity", Jehovah, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. SEP means "Separated", but all three Jehovah,Jesus, and the Holy Spirit work together as One. Hebrews 13:2 Do not neglect hospitality to strangers, for by doing so, some have entertained angels without knowing it. Jehovah Saints Put God First King David said, "Whom have I in heaven but You? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside You." ~ Psalm 73:25 Faith in Praying, Fasting to Resist Demons, Devils: Matthew 17:18-21 Jesus rebuked the devil, and he departed from him, and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus and said, “Why could we not cast him out?” Jesus said unto them, “Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place,’ and it shall remove. And nothing shall be impossible for you. However, this kind (devil) goes not out but by prayer and fasting.” James 4:7 "Submit yourselves therefore to Jehovah. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Faith in Laws: God Jehovah gave us 10 Laws to live by, all other laws are man's laws. The Bible is a History Book of man’s laws: In Romans 14, what is Sin to one person is Not Sin to another person. Stronger Faith People understand this, and do not tempt the weaker faith with what the weaker faith might consider wrong. Some of Man's Laws: Exodus 35:2 "Six days work shall be done, but on the seventh day you shall have a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on Sabbath shall be put to death." Deuteronomy 23:2 "A bastard shall not enter into the congregation (Church Building) of the LORD; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation (Church Building) of the LORD." Leviticus 20:13 "If a man also lies with mankind, as he lies with a woman, they shall surely be put to death." None of the above are God's Laws, but man's laws. 10 Laws are all God gave us. Jesus did NOT like the High Priest at the Temple at ALL. Jesus said to the High Priest at Temple, "You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of lies. And because I tell you the truth, you believe me not." John 8:44-45 Faith in Jesus: Jehovah's Son, "Jesus," Ruler Over All Kings of Earth. Revelations 1:5 "Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, is the firstborn from the dead, and Jesus is the ruler of the kings of the earth." John 12:28-31 Jesus said, “Father Jehovah, glorify thy name. Then came a voice from heaven, Jehovah, saying, I have both glorified it and will glorify it again… This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out.” Faith in Jehovah: Jehovah is the Father God, and Jesus is His Son The name Jehovah holds profound significance in the Judeo-Christian tradition. It is a name that encapsulates the divine attributes and serves as a powerful symbol of God’s presence and authority. Let us explore the biblical references where this sacred name appears in the King James Version (KJV). 1. Psalms 83:18 "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth." In this verse, the psalmist acknowledges God’s supremacy by emphasizing that His name—JEHOVAH—stands alone as the highest authority over the entire earth. 2. Isaiah 12:2 "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation." Isaiah extols the Lord as the source of salvation, emphasizing that JEHOVAH is not only the strength of His people but also their song of deliverance. 3. Exodus 6:3 "And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them." In this passage, God reveals His name, JEHOVAH to Moses, highlighting its significance as a revelation distinct from His previous interactions with the patriarchs. 4. Isaiah 26:4 "Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in JEHOVAH is everlasting strength." Isaiah emphasizes that JEHOVAH provides unwavering strength—an eternal foundation for trust and reliance. 5. Genesis 22:14 "And Abraham called the name of that place JEHOVAHjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen." 6. Exodus 17:15 "And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it JEHOVAHnissi:" 7. Judges 6:24 "Then Gideon built an altar there unto the Lord, and called it JEHOVAHshalom: unto this day it is yet in Ophrah of the Abiezrites. Remember, the King James Version preserves the sacredness of this name, allowing us to connect with the Almighty through the ages. Other translations have removed God's name JEHOVAH in the Bible, and some translations have removed JEHOVAH all together and replaced it with the name Lord. "The More You Know" Faith in Eternal Life: John 17:3 And this is eternal life—that they know you, the only true God, Jehovah, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent. Matthew 25:46 And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life. John 5:24 Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes Jehovah who sent me Jesus, has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life. How to Endure Temptation? James 1:13-18 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted by Jehovah: for Jehovah cannot be tempted with evil, nor tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away from his own lust, and enticed... Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights, with whom there is no variableness, no shadow of turning. Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures. Jesus and His Relationship with God No One Has Seen God Except Jesus: John 1:18 states, “No one has ever seen God; the only God, except Jesus, who is at the Father’s side, he has made him known.” This verse emphasizes that Jesus uniquely reveals God to humanity. If you’ve seen Jesus, you’ve encountered God’s Spirit in him, but you did not see God. The Bible states in Exodus 33:20 Jehovah says, “You cannot see my face, for man shall not see me and live.” Which means Jesus was not God, as if Jesus were God, then everyone would have died that looked upon Jesus. Jesus’ Words About His Father: Jesus acknowledges the Father’s greatness. He says, “My Father (Jehovah) is greater than I, Jesus” (John 14:28). Why Did Jesus Say, “Why Do You Call Me Good?”: When someone addressed Jesus as “good,” Jesus responded, “Why do you call me good? Jesus said, No one is good except God (Jehovah) alone” (Mark 10:18). Jesus didn’t claim equality with God in every aspect. Jesus’ Prayers to God (Jehovah): Jesus prayed to God, demonstrating His dependence and relationship with the Father Jehovah. His prayers were genuine, not for show. For instance, in the Garden of Gethsemane, He prayed fervently before His arrest (Matthew 26:36-46). You Are gods: In Psalm 82:6, it says, “I said, ‘You are gods; you are all sons of the Most High.’” Jesus referenced this passage when confronted by the Jews, who accused Him of making Himself equal to God (John 10:34-36). The context suggests that humans, as God’s representatives, are called “gods” (with a lowercase “g”). The Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Word are "ONE" as stated in 1 John 5:7. Just as a married couple becomes "ONE" flesh, they work together as "ONE", as stated in Mark 10:8. This does not mean two fleshly bodies become one fleshly body; it just means two people are working together as one. As all three Father, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus work together as One. Jesus Praying to God, Jehovah Hebrews 5:7 "Jesus offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One (Jehovah) able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety." Luke 3:21 "Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while Jesus was praying, heaven was opened," Matthew 14:23 "After He had sent the crowds away, Jesus went up on the mountain by Himself to pray; and when it was evening, He was there alone." (This verse shows us that Jesus was not praying to show others how to pray, because Jesus went by himself to pray alone, and praying to his Father, Jehovah.) Mark 6:46 After bidding them farewell, Jesus left for the mountain to pray. Luke 6:12 It was at this time that He went off to the mountain to pray, and Jesus spent the whole night in prayer to God. Mark 1:35 In the early morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house, went away to a secluded place, and was praying there. Luke 5:16 But Jesus Himself would often slip away to the wilderness and pray. Luke 9:18 And it happened that while Jesus was praying alone, the disciples were with Him, and He questioned them, saying, “Who do the people say that I am?” Matthew 26:36 Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to His disciples, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.” Matthew 26:39 And Jesus went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father (Jehovah), if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” Matthew 26:42 Jesus went away again a second time and prayed, saying, “My Father (Jehovah), if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.” Matthew 26:44 And Jesus left them again, and went away and prayed a third time, saying the same thing once more. Mark 14:32 They came to a place named Gethsemane; and Jesus said to His disciples, “Sit here until I have prayed.” Mark 14:35 And Jesus went a little beyond them, and fell to the ground and began to pray that if it were possible, the hour might pass Him by. Mark 14:39 Again Jesus went away and prayed, saying the same words. There are several more verses where Jesus prayed to Father Jehovah, but it will take of the entire page writing them. You get the picture though. The Mark of the Beast: What Does Revelation 13:17 Say? “so that no one can buy, sell or trade unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.” This verse continues to describe the False Prophet’s implementation of the “mark of the beast.” The Greek word used here is “charagma,” which originally referred to the branding of livestock. But in this context, it symbolizes something far more profound—a mark that identifies the bearer as loyal to the Antichrist. (Revelation 13:16) "he causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead" "If You Worship the Beast or take the Mark" (Revelation 14:9-11) And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receives his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb. Jehovah Saints is Strong Faith like Abraham, David and Solomon: Biblical Polygamy Strong Faith means we have a better understanding of God. David’s Wives and God’s Role In 2 Samuel 12:7-8, God gave David all of Saul’s wives. These women were given to David directly by God Himself. This act demonstrates that God did not see anything wrong with David having multiple wives. Other Biblical Examples of Polygamy King David was not the only man in the Bible with multiple wives. Father Abraham, another great man of God, had two wives and also had children with his girlfriends. King Solomon, renowned for his wisdom, had several wives and girlfriends. Esteemed Men in God’s Eyes. Despite their polygamous relationships, both David and Solomon were highly esteemed by God. Their actions were recorded in the Bible for us to learn from.. Differing Views Among Preachers Interestingly, many preachers today do not believe that having multiple wives is right. They often reference the teachings of Paul, whose faith was weak, Paul did not have a good understanding of God. Paul believes in one man and one wife, but God is fine with multiple wives, as Jehovah gave David all of Saul's wives. Romans 14 explains to us, what is sin to one person, is not sin to another. Romans 14 also explains, one person is weak in faith, and one is strong in faith. And the stronger faith, is not to tempt the weaker faith with what the weaker faith thinks is sin, because it really is sin to them but not sin to you. Sin is just a mistake; if you feel you made a mistake, just pray and ask God to forgive you, and God forgives and forgets. So if you were to pray again about what you thought was a mistake, God would not know what you were talking about. If the weaker faith person you tempted were to partake in what they think is sin, it is sin to them, and it harms them spiritually. When the spirit hurts, it does bodily harm, as stated in Proverbs 17:22 "...a broken spirit dries the bones."
