All grievances will be taken seriously, investigated thoroughly, and handled with confidentiality and respect. Definition of a Grievance A grievance is any concern, complaint, or issue raised by an individual regarding: Violations of shelter policies or rules. Harassment, discrimination, or mistreatment.
