A Gift of Faith: Pastor Josphat Isoe and the Children of Jehovah Saints Kenya Celebrate Their New Bibles

A moment of joy and gratitude filled the hearts of Pastor Josphat Isoe and the children of Jehovah Saints Kenya as they received a precious gift—32 Bibles generously donated by Brother Michael Hopkins. This act of kindness has brought hope, inspiration, and the Word of God into the hands of those eager to grow in their faith and share the love of Christ with others.

Pastor Josphat shared a heartfelt message of thanks, saying: *"Dear Brother Michael Hopkins, On behalf of all of us, especially the children, we want to extend our deepest gratitude for your generous donation of 32 Bibles. Your kindness has planted seeds of faith that will grow and bear fruit for generations to come.

Thank you for being a vessel of God’s love and provision. May the Lord richly bless you for your compassion and obedience to His call.

With heartfelt thanks, Pastor Josphat Isoe together with Fellowship Team."*

This donation is more than just a gift of books; it is the gift of spiritual nourishment and guidance. For many of the children and members of the fellowship, these Bibles are their first opportunity to personally read and engage with God’s Word. As it says in Psalm 119:105, “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”  These Bibles will serve as a guiding light for those who are learning to walk in faith and follow Christ.

The impact of this gift is immeasurable. It will empower the children to grow in their knowledge of God’s promises and equip them to face the challenges of life with faith and confidence. In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, we are reminded that “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”  These Bibles will be a source of wisdom, strength, and encouragement for the entire community.

Pastor Josphat also emphasized the lasting impact of this act of generosity. The seeds of faith that have been planted through this gift will grow and bear fruit for generations. As Jesus taught in Matthew 13:23, “But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty, or thirty times what was sown.”  The children and fellowship members who receive and cherish these Bibles will share the love of Christ with others, creating a ripple effect of faith and hope.

This moment is a beautiful example of God’s provision and the power of generosity. Brother Michael Hopkins’ obedience to God’s call has made a tangible difference in the lives of many. As it says in Proverbs 11:25, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.”  His gift is a reminder that when we give in love, we reflect the heart of God and become His hands and feet in the world.

The fellowship in Kenya is now better equipped to grow in their relationship with God, study His Word, and share His message of salvation with others. The children, in particular, are filled with excitement and gratitude as they begin their journey of faith with their very own Bibles. This gift will not only transform their lives but also strengthen the entire community in their walk with Christ.

As we celebrate this act of love and provision, let us be reminded of the importance of sharing God’s Word with those in need. In Romans 10:17, we are told, “Faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.”  May this story inspire us all to be vessels of God’s love, spreading His Word and making a difference in the lives of others.

Amen.
