📖 God’s Name Jehovah in the Bible

Note: Many newer translations have removed God's name altogether; it is nowhere to be found.

  • Genesis 22:14:

    • And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh.

Note: Jehovah God’s name used to be all throughout the Bible even more.

Down through history, God’s name, Jehovah, was removed and replaced with the word LORD, all in capital letters. When you see LORD in the Bible, in Bold, that is where God’s name Jehovah used to be.
