Galatians 6:3-4

For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. But let each one test his own work, and then his reason to boast will be in himself alone and not in his neighbor.

Job 35:12

There they cry out, but he (Jehovah) does not answer because of the pride of evil men.

Psalm 10:4

In the pride of his face the wicked does not seek him (Jehovah); all his thoughts are, “There is no God.”

Psalm 31:23

Love the Lord, all you his saints! The Lord preserves the faithful abundantly and repays the one who acts in pride (pride is evil).

Proverbs 8:13

The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil. Pride and arrogance and the way of evil and evil speech I hate.

You want wisdom? Be humble:

Proverbs 11:2

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with the humble comes wisdom.

Love is not Simple

1 John 4:1

Test the Spirits (meaning demons/devils and men's souls—also fallen angels/devils/demons can enter men and speak through them) Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God (Jehovah), for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

“Scoffer” is the name of the arrogant, haughty man who acts with arrogant pride.

Jeremiah 49:16

The horror you inspire has deceived you, and the pride of your heart, you who live in the clefts of the rock, who hold the height of the hill. Though you make your nest as high as the eagle's, I will bring you down from there, declares the Lord.
