  • Pastor Rizwan of Jehovah Saints Church, Phool Nagar, Punjab, Pakistan

A Message from Pastor Rizwan of Jehovah Saints Church, Phool Nagar, Punjab, Pakistan Sermon Title: "Lending a Helping Hand: A Biblical Perspective" Pastor Rizwan delivered an inspiring message to his congregation, emphasizing the importance of helping others as a core aspect of Christian living. He reminded the church that as followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to demonstrate His love and compassion to those around us. Key Points of the Sermon 1. The Biblical Basis for Helping Others The Bible is filled with teachings and examples that highlight the significance of helping others. Pastor Rizwan shared the following key scriptures: Matthew 25:31-46 : Jesus teaches that helping others is equivalent to serving Him. "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." Galatians 6:2 : We are called to bear one another's burdens as a fulfillment of Christ's law. "Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Proverbs 19:17 : Helping others is seen as lending to the Lord, and He promises to reward such acts. "Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will reward them for what they have done." Hebrews 13:16 : Encouragement to share and do good as sacrifices pleasing to God. "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." James 2:14-17 : Faith without works is dead; helping others is an expression of true faith. "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?" 2. Practical Applications: How to Help Others Pastor Rizwan encouraged the congregation to take actionable steps to live out this principle: Volunteer Your Time: Look for opportunities to serve others in your local community, church, or through charitable organizations. "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people. "   (Ephesians 6:7) Be a Good Listener: Offer a listening ear to those in need. Sometimes, your presence and attention can be the greatest gift. "Be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry."  (James 1:19) Give Generously: Donate to causes, charities, or individuals in need. Remember, no act of giving is too small. "Freely you have received; freely give."  (Matthew 10:8) Acts of Service: Help a neighbor with daily tasks, run errands for someone, or offer your skills to benefit others. "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."  (1 Peter 4:10) Pray for Others: Lift up those in need through prayer, asking God to intervene and provide for their needs. "And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests."  (Ephesians 6:18) 3. Call to Action Pastor Rizwan concluded the sermon by encouraging the congregation to actively seek ways to help others, both within the church and in the wider community. He reminded everyone that by serving others, we are living out the gospel and reflecting the love of Christ. Reflection Questions Who in your life can you help today? What are some practical ways you can serve others in your community this week? How can you demonstrate Jesus' love and compassion to someone in need? Closing Scripture "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." • Report from Archbishop and Pastor Amin Gill of Jehovah Saints Church, Pakistan

Report from Archbishop and Pastor Amin Gill of Jehovah Saints Church, Punjab, Pakistan On the evening of Friday, March 7th , I had the privilege of leading a worship service at Village 297 JB , within my pastoral area. During this gathering, I shared a message on the profound teachings of Jesus Christ regarding forgiveness , as recorded in the Gospel of Matthew, chapter 18, verses 15 to 22. Key Teachings from Matthew 18:15-22 Reconciliation with a Brother or Sister : Jesus emphasizes the importance of addressing conflicts directly and privately: “If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.” (Matthew 18:15) The Process of Resolution : If reconciliation fails, Jesus outlines a process involving witnesses and, if necessary, the broader community of believers. “But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that ‘every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.’” (Matthew 18:16) The Call to Forgiveness : Peter asked Jesus how many times we should forgive someone who sins against us. Jesus replied, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” (Matthew 18:22) This teaching underscores the boundless nature of forgiveness expected of Christ’s followers. Reflection During the worship service, I encouraged the congregation to embrace Jesus' call to forgiveness, which fosters healing and unity within the body of Christ. Forgiveness is not only a command but also a reflection of God’s grace toward us. Amen. Conclusion: Join Us in Bringing Hope to the Homeless At Jehovah Saints, we are committed to being the hands and feet of Christ by providing safe shelters, warm meals, and hope to those in need. • "Jehovah Saints Church in Jaranwala, Pakistan: Fasting and Fellowship"

"Jehovah Saints Church in Jaranwala, Pakistan: Fasting and Fellowship" Pastor Arfan Bashir of Jehovah Saints Church in Jaranwala, Pakistan, shares an inspiring update from their community. On the first day of fasting, his wife led the congregation in breaking their fast by providing food. This act of service and fellowship underscores the importance of unity and compassion within the body of Christ. Scripture Focus Matthew 6:16-18: "When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you." Fasting should be a humble act of devotion to God, accompanied by acts of kindness and generosity. Isaiah 58:6-7: "Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke? Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?" True fasting involves acts of love, justice, and care for others. Hebrews 13:16: "And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." Sharing what we have with others is a pleasing sacrifice to God. John 13:34-35: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." • Jehovah Saints Church, Gojra City, District Toba Tek Singh, Pakistan

Pastor Nadeem's Report on Service Jehovah Saints Church, Gojra City, District Toba Tek Singh, Pakistan Pastor Nadeem shares a heartfelt testimony of his service to the community: "I was hungry in your house, and you fed me bread." This simple yet profound statement reflects the spirit of Christ's teaching and the mission of the church to serve those in need. Scriptural Reflection The words of Pastor Nadeem resonate deeply with the message in Isaiah 58:1-8 , where the Lord calls His people to true fasting—fasting that is not just about rituals but about acts of justice, mercy, and compassion. Isaiah 58:6-7  reminds us: "Is not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?" This passage calls us to action, emphasizing that true worship is seen in how we treat others, especially the vulnerable and marginalized. Encouragement for the Church As Pastor Nadeem's testimony illustrates, the work of the church is not just about preaching but also about living out the Gospel through acts of love and service. Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, and caring for the oppressed are central to our calling as followers of Christ. Let us be reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 25:35-36 : "For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave me drink; I was a stranger, and you took me in; I was naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me." As a church, let us continue to: Feed the Hungry : Extend hospitality and care to those in need. Clothe the Naked : Provide for those who lack basic necessities. Share the Gospel : Let our actions speak of God's love and grace. May we always remember that in serving others, we are serving Christ Himself. God bless you all as you labor in His vineyard.
