Pastor Aftab Sundhu recently shared an inspiring update on the work being done by Jehovah Saints Church in Pakistan. Despite not having any donors yet, Pastor Sundhu and his church are dedicated to helping those in need in their community. Their efforts, though modest, are a testament to their faith and commitment to serving others.
Helping Those in Need
Pastor Sundhu shared that the church is currently assisting families in the area who do not have homes. They do what they can with the limited resources they have, demonstrating the love of Christ through their actions. As Proverbs 19:17 reminds us:
“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.”
Their work is a beautiful example of living out the gospel by caring for the most vulnerable members of society.
A Vision for Education and Spiritual Growth
One of the church’s dreams is to build schools on the kilns where many in the Christian community work. These schools would provide both academic education and Christian Bible study, empowering individuals to read and honor God’s name. Pastor Sundhu expressed his hope that this initiative would bring glory to God and transform lives.
As Hosea 4:6 says:
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.”
By equipping their community with education and biblical teaching, the church seeks to break the cycle of poverty and spiritual ignorance, allowing individuals to grow in both wisdom and faith.
Current Church Projects
Pastor Sundhu also shared updates on the church’s infrastructure projects. They are about to have an electricity meter installed and are in the process of building a washroom for the congregation. These small but significant improvements will enhance the church’s ability to serve its members and the wider community.
This reminds us of Philippians 4:19:
“And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
A Call for Prayer and Partnership
Pastor Sundhu requested prayers for the following:
That God would raise up donors and helpers to support their ministry.
That the church’s dream of building schools and serving the community would become a reality.
That their efforts would bring glory to God’s name and be a blessing to many in Pakistan.
As 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 encourages us:
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

As Galatians 6:9-10 reminds us:
“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.”
