✝️ Salvation, Repentance, and Hell's Torment: Key Doctrines 📜
1. Salvation—Repent or Perish 💔
Jesus said, “Unless you repent, you will perish.”
Related Scripture: Luke 13:5
If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that Jehovah raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified.
And it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Related Scripture: Romans 10:9-10
2. Confession and Fellowship 🙏
Truly our fellowship is with Jehovah and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
If we confess our sins, Jehovah is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Jehovah a liar, and His word is not in us.
Related Scripture: 1 John 1:3-10
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another.
And the blood of Jesus Christ, Jehovah's Son, cleanses us from all sin.
Related Scripture: 1 John 1:7
3. Baptism Not Required: but it Builds Faith 💧
And they came again to Jerusalem.
And as Jesus was walking in the temple, the chief priests and the scribes and the elders came to Jesus.
And they said to him, “Jesus, by what authority are you doing these things, or who gave you this authority to do them?”
Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question; answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Was the baptism of John from heaven or from man? Answer me.”
And they discussed it with one another, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why then did you not believe him?’
But shall we say, ‘From man’”? —They were afraid of the people, for they all held that John really was a prophet.
So they answered Jesus, “We do not know.”
And Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
Related Scripture: Mark 11:27-33
4. "HELL "Fire"—Rich Man In Hell 🔥
And JESUS said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man...
And in HELL he lifted up his eyes, being in torments...
And he cried and said, "Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am tormented in this FLAME."
Related Scripture: Luke chapter 16
